A simple cremation includes the following

Transportation of the deceased into our care
Services of Funeral Director and Staff
Arrangement conference, clerical services & overhead
Filing of Cremation Permit in accordance with California State Statute
Filing of Death Certificate in accordance with California State Statute
Refrigeration of deceased (no embalming)
Cremation container
Cremation of deceased
Cremated remains returned in a temporary cardboard container

* Fees & Permits are not included in the price. Currently, the Permit is $11 & State Fee is $8.50.

What to do when a death occurs...

at home and the loved one is under Hospice Care.

Contact the Hospice Nurse who will respond to your home and make the pronouncement of death.

The Nurse or Physician will come to the room and make the pronouncement of death.

and Medical Examiner or Law Enforcement is involved.

Authorize the Medical Examiner to release the loved one to Abbey Cremation - 619-284-6760.
